FindOutCeliac Test
Quick & safe self-test for gluten intolerance
Celiac disease is a lifelong disease that causes many different clinical symptoms, e.g. diarrhea, constipation, weight loss, malnutrition and skin irritation. Celiac disease is caused by hypersensitivity to gluten. Gluten is a protein in wheat, rye and barley.
The FindOut Celiac Test is a self-test for detecting anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies in the blood. The presence of these antibodies most likely indicates celiac disease.

How does it work?
Many people have celiac disease without knowing it
About 35,000 Swedes are diagnosed with celiac disease, but the number of undiagnosed people is estimated to be up to 250,000. In recent decades, there has been an increase in celiac disease in the Nordic countries.
When a person with celiac disease eats gluten, the intestinal lining is damaged, which leads to the ability to absorb vitamins, minerals and other important nutrients being destroyed – which in turn can lead to malnutrition and ill health.
FindOut Celiac Test
Aid for diagnosis
The FindOut Celiac Test can be used as an aid in the diagnosis of celiac disease and can help find the cause of unclear symptoms. The final diagnosis is made by a doctor. The level of anti-tissue transglutaminase antibodies drops with a gluten-free diet. The effect can often be observed within a few weeks and within 6 months it may be that antibodies are no longer visible. Gluten-free diet should therefore only be started after a doctor’s prescription.
Only one drop (10 μl) of blood from the finger is needed to perform the test. FindOut Celiac Test has 96% sensitivity.
